Talofa! Hope yall had a great week, it's been a great week here in North Carolina! The Lord guided us this week, we destroyed our goals. We found 6 new people to teach, and we had 3 people at Sacrament meeting!!!
The greatest thing that happened this week though was the baptism of Tay'Quan Ke'Vante mayes-acoff!! Elder Palmer baptized him on Saturday, and he was so happy! I dont think he could have grinned any bigger.
One miracle this week happened on last Tuesday! We were out tracting and we were heading up towards our dinner appointment. While we were tracting I just had a horrible feeling in my chest and I felt like we were going the wrong way. After a few more doors of nobody talking to us we decided to go the other direction. We walked all the way back to where our bikes were locked and went the other direction. We knocked on the door and a guy named Ned, told us to come inside. We ended up talking with him and having a good lesson with him. It really adds to my testimony that this is the Lords work, and he will lead us as we seek to follow where he leads.
Another miracle from the week was a guy named Bret. Bret was a referral and we called him and invited him to church. This week at church we had a potluck after our meetings and we got to sit down with Bret and talk with him. He is a really nice guy and we got to testify of the Book of Mormon. He also wants us to come over and teach him on Tuesday, and he signed up to feed us dinner on Wednesday!!!! How cool is that
Another miracle from the week was with Mike. We invited him to Tay'Quans baptism and he came. Well he was supposed to come to church on Sunday but didn't make it. So we called him to see why he didnt make it. Well anyways, he was out of town, but, he told us that he wants to be baptized!!!! Super excited about that, so hopefully we can get a date figured out and get him ready.
We also have been working on going through part member families, and a 9 year old girl Olivia wants to be baptized really bad. We were able to teach her the restoration and the whole family came to church.
It's been a great week full of miracles and a lot of great experiences. I love being a missionary here in North Carolina. This is Jesus Christs restored church. The Book of Mormon is true. We have a prophet on the earth today. This is the Lords work. It changes peoples lives, and its changed mine!
Love yall
Have a great week
