Well someone somewhere had a great week but we sure as heck could have had a better one. On Tuesday Elder Warden crashed his bike and his leg popped out of place and then back in place. I had to take him to the ER and they took xrays and couldn't see anything, so they told us to do nothing for 2 days to try to get the swelling to go down.
So Wednesday and Thursday we canceled everything and did nothing.
On Friday we tried to go out tracting for like 5 minutes and Elder Wardens leg popped out of place again. So, we went back to the apartment. Basically if he puts any weight on his leg it will just give out and he'll collapse.
I'm convinced he tore his MCL or something but we are going to an orthopedist today to hopefully get some answers.
While we were sitting in the apartment we got a call from Selina Hernandez, (investigator that was supposed to get baptized this week), she moved to New York state basically overnight, so that kind of sucks.
Brother Gentry took us to the barber to get a haircut the other day and me and the barber had a miscommunication, he ended up buzzing my head hahaha. And we have mission conference tomorrow. Sometimes that's just how it goes.
Satan is definitely working hard down here to stop the Lords work, but despite his best efforts, he still failed.
We were able to have Johnny, Rochelle, and Brooklyn at church this Sunday! Johnny is getting really close to baptism, we are supposed to go back over there tonight.
Also Brother Samuelu came in clutch and drove us around every night so we could still get some work done and testify to some people.
In 2 Nephi 2 it says
11 For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad
There is always going to be opposition. But through Jesus Christ and his atonement we can find peace and happiness no matter the circumstances we are in, with the knowledge that we will one day rest from all our afflictions.
Alma 34 : 41
41 But that ye have patience, and bear with those afflictions, with a firm hope that ye shall one day rest from all your afflictions.
I love yall! Hope you had a great week
