Corona Virus!

It's been another great week here in Raleigh North Carolina! This week we have had to face some different challenges than we have before with the Corona Virus. I'm sure none of you have heard about

We got quarantined 6 days ago, and we haven't been able to get out of the apartment hardly at all. We have lost contact with everyone that we are teaching.

They are sending a ton of missionaries home, I heard we are losing 60 from our mission just in the next couple of days, and a lot more after next transfer. We will be getting some missionaries from other countries.

On the bright side though we have had a lot of time to study, and we have been able to teach some less active members through video calls!

Other than that not sure if there is much else going on!

President Holland shared a scripture from Matthew 4 jst with us this week...

1 Then Jesus was led up of the Spirit, into the wilderness, to be with God

Jesus Christ had some time in the wilderness to be with God! This is our time to be in the wilderness and to be with God. This time we have locked up can either be wasted or it can be used as a time to grow spiritually.

Elder M. Russell Ballard promised, “We might well ask, ‘Is there one clear, unpolluted, unbiased voice that we can always count on? Is there a voice that will always give us clear directions to find our way in today’s troubled world?’ The answer is yes. That voice is the voice of the living prophet and apostles. … I make you a promise. It’s a simple one, but it is true. If you will listen to the living prophet and the apostles and heed our counsel, you will not go astray.”

I know this promise to be true. We have a prophet on the earth today. He speaks the words that God would have us hear and will lead us to safety.

Jesus Christ said:

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

We have no need to be afraid. The Lord is in control. He has a plan for each one of us.
