The Corona can't stop the work of the Lord

It's been another great week out here in Raleigh North Carolina! We had the baptism of Shannon Henry on Saturday, she was so happy to be baptized! Because of the Corona virus nobody was allowed to come except for like 2 people, so it was the smallest baptism ever, but, the ordinance was still the same!

I went on exchanges with Elder Smith this week, one of my old companions, so that was a good time!

We made some good progress with Ignatius this week, we taught him the doctrine of Christ and he is praying about baptism! We are going over tonight to follow up and see how it went.

Shaun has been hiding from us, we think he got scared about baptism. We went over to his house on Sunday to do sacrament with his mother in law, who is a member. He was hiding in the basement haha. Pretty awesome how even when we cannot meet together at church we can still partake of the sacrament!

Our teaching pool shrunk a lot this last week, for one reason or another everyone started dropping like flies. We did everything we could this week to find someone new to teach and the Lord blessed us with someone yesterday afternoon!

2 Nephi 33

1 And now I, Nephi, cannot write all the things which were taught among my people; neither am I mighty in writing, like unto speaking; for when a man speaketh by the power of the Holy Ghost the power of the Holy Ghost carrieth it unto the hearts of the children of men.
2 But behold, there are many that harden their hearts against the Holy Spirit, that it hath no place in them; wherefore, they cast many things away which are written and esteem them as things of naught.

The Lord will lead us and answer our prayers through the Holy Ghost. But, we must seek his guidance and not harden our hearts against the Spirit.

I know that the Lord hears our prayers. I know that he loves each one of us and knows the challenges that we face. He will lead us as we put our trust in him.

Sorry dont have a lot of time today!

Love

Elder Forrest
