What a week

Another good week out here in Raleigh NC! We got 55 new missionaries this week, which made for a lot of moving people around. Elder Lignell and I were tasked with picking up missionaries from the airport in our mini van, we made about 7 trips down there. It was fun to meet all the new missionaries

Elder Lignell and I got split up on Friday. President Asked Elder Lignell to train a new missionary, and he asked me to fulfill a "special" assignment if you know what I mean

My new companion is Elder Keller he is from Idaho Falls. He is a good guy. They whitewashed us into the Raleigh 1st ward, and we are stoked to be here! This ward is ready to go, they have some good things going member wise.

When we got here there wasn't anyone being taught or anything but after making some phone calls we have some good things set up for the next few days.

I was studying conversion this week and one thing that I read was that Conversion can only happen through the Holy Ghost.

In 1 Corinthians 2 it says...

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

When conversion happens it changes the person. The only way someone will change is If they come to know and feel that something is true. That truth can only be made known through the power of the Holy Ghost.

I know I'm grateful for a loving Heavenly Father that communicates with me through the Holy Ghost as I reach out in prayer to him. God will always lead us to truth as we humbly seek it.

Love yall

Elder Forrest
