Goodbye Raleigh

It's been another great week here in Raleigh North Carolina! We got transfer news last night and I am getting transferred, not sure where I am going yet! Pretty crazy though I have been in Raleigh for the last 7 months

This week I went on a couple exchanges, one with Elder Schnepf and another with Elder Snarr, it was pretty fun and it has been along time since we have done in person exchanges. Me and Elder Schnepf ran 3 miles, it has been a while since I have run because Elder Keller has a messed up ankle, so I almost died in the NC humidity

We did a ton of service this week, Almost everyday. We moved a ton of wood, dug some ditches, painted a porch, moved some rocks, and lots of raking

The work this week went great as well! We found 3 new people to teach, and we also had 4 people for sacrament meeting. We had some good lessons this week and made some progress with the people we are teaching

Nothing else that crazy happened it's been a pretty average week, Elder Keller did crash his bike again but that isn't unusual

In Alma 37 Alma teaches His son Heleman that the scriptures are like a Liahona, or a compass that will guide us.

We learn in Romans 10:
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

As we study and apply the word of God in our lives it will build our Faith in Christ, and Christ will ultimately lead us home.

I know the teachings contained within the scriptures have built the foundation for my testimony of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures have been a Liahona to me in my life.

If your seeking for guidance right now or looking for directions, the scriptures are a good place to start

Love yall

Elder Forrest
