It has been another great week out here in Fayetteville North Carolina!
The work in our area is going pretty good, we found a guy this week named Durronte and he is SICK! We had a couple lessons with him and he is super humble.
We also have been working with a lady named Erica and we had a great lesson with her and we are following up to see how her reading the Book of Mormon and praying has been going tonight.
I went on 2 exchanges this week, 1 with my trainer Elder Cook. That was a super fun time! First time I had been with him in like 15 months. Also went on exchange with Elder Ward, he is a good guy.
I put my sheets in the wash yesterday but forgot to put them in the dryer.... and then the laundry detergent stuck on the blanket so I had to start it again. So last night i layed on the cold bare mattress 😂 Elder Marshall thought it was pretty funny
We did some service this week carrying a bunch of bricks to make a path in the woods so that was pretty fun. Starting to get to know some more members here and they are all awesome it has been a lot of fun. Also found out we go back to church on the 30th so that will help with getting to know people.
This week I was reading in Acts chapter 5 and I was inspired by the attitude of Peter and the other apostles. They were just beaten by the pharisees for teaching about Jesus Christ and this is what they did next.....
41 ¶ And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.
42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ
They rejoiced! These men were truly converted and all they wanted to do was serve God and his children. They were not worried about being beaten or death or anything. They feared God more than men and their works showed it.
Love yall
