It's been another good week out here in Fayettnam! We had a super busy week so it kinda flew by.
We did a lot of service this week. We pressured washed a fence with an electric pressure washer.... wouldn't recommend buying one of those, that thing was gutless! We also went to rake a bunch of pine needles up, some dude saw us raking it and he came out with 2 leaf blower backpacks for us so that was super nice
We also went to a car show right by our house for a few minutes and checked out some pretty sweet American muscle, and talked to a few people
The craziest thing that happened this week was at Sister Moormans house. She hasnt been to church in a long time so we went to visit her, while we were teaching her, her daughter in-law pulled up and went to go into the house. We stopped her from going inside at the last second and she sat down and proceeded to ask us questions for 2 hours! Well we went back and answered more questions for 2 hours the next day and basically taught her the entire Gospel. She felt the spirit for the first time and it all clicked in her head! We had another lesson with her yesterday and we taught the Word of Wisdom and some other commandments and she is willing to do it all! She was truly prepared for the Gospel and it's what she has been searching for her entire life, and has been praying for. She literally has been to every church except for ours and her questions are finally being answered
John 14:26
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you
The longer I have been on a mission the more I have recognized the importance and the great blessing of the Spirit. It is a blessing in many ways but one of the greatest is the opportunity to learn. Spiritual things can only be learned through the spirit and it is crucial in a world full of so many different opinions and false doctrines.
God loves us and truth comes only through Jesus Christ who tells us he is "the way, THE TRUTH, and the life"
I'm grateful that truth has been restored to the Earth today. We have the fulness of Jesus Christs Gospel and I am grateful for the blessing that is and the light it has brought to my life
Love yall
