Another great week in Hope Mills North Carolina! This week blew by, I cant believe it's already Monday. Me and JG have been busy teaching this week, we had a lot of in person lessons
Dawn came to church this week and we asked her if she wanted to see the baptismal font, and she said, "no!". She is super pissed that she couldn't get baptized last week when she was supposed to, but, she seemed to have a good time at church and the ward was friendly to her 🤷♂️
We went and did service for Cassie and Sebastion this week in their "yard", (its more like a jungle). We were pulling a bunch of huge vines out of the trees in the woods, and we pulled down a couple dead trees and accidentally knocked over a telephone pole... but sometimes it be like that. They were super appreciative and we actually got them to come to the church for a church tour and they totally felt the spirit!!! They said they would come to church next week
We also found a family that basically owns an entire neighborhood and we have been doing service for them. Well we finally got a lesson set up the other day and we went and taught them all the restoration out in the yard, so that was pretty dope
This week I was reading in Proverbs 16 and this verse stood out to me...
6" By mercy and truth iniquity is purged..."
Mercy and truth comes through Jesus Christ. In the words of the Savior himself, "I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life"
In Jesus Christ we can find relief from the demands of justice. He is full of mercy and truth. Through him iniquity is purged, and we can gain eternal life.
Love yall
