We put Dawn on date!

Another good week out here in the warzone! Unfortunately our baptism with Durrontae fell through.... BUT, we put Dawn on date for October 10th!!! She is awesome, we have been having lessons like every other day. We are going to start running through some commandments this week so we will see where she is at

I went on exchange down to Lumberton this week with Elder Ward. Lumberton is basically the very bottom of the mission, it borders South Carolina. While we were there we had some good lessons and we had dinner with the Hutchinson family. Brother Hutchinson is a firefighter and he gave me some Lumberton Fire Department patches so that was pretty cool. While I was on exchange In Lumberton, Elder Gardner was back in Hope Mills and had to take an Elder to the ER in the middle of the night, and didnt get any sleep! Looks like it was a good night to be on exchange

We found 4 new people to teach this week so that was good, because we had to drop a lot of our teaching pool.

We had MLC in person up in Raleigh for the first time since March so that was pretty cool. Our new mission President is a good guy! We also had Zone conference this week and we have Zone council this week... lots of meetings!

President Maurer had us read some talks this week, and one of them was by President Eyring. In there he talks about how we as missionaries are never alone. But really that applies to everyone.

Sometimes we might feel overwhelmed with the task at hand or with the challenges that we have to face. But, we are never alone. Jesus Christ is always there to help us along the path and even carry us when we feel like we can't go any further.

We always have access to the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and we are never alone.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us

Love yall

Elder Forrest
