Christmas in the Carolinas

Another great week already gone out here in Wilmington North Carolina! It was a good week

Christmas was a blast, we got together with some other missionaries and feasted on crepes and played cards... then we decided to eat habaneros and that's when things started getting spicy

We had a zone conference with President and Sister Maurer. We played a game where we throw clothespins into buckets, apparently it's an Australian thing

The other day I was eating some cereal and I was on my second bowl and I looked down and there was a cockroach in there, what a nice surprise

Alma 12
25 Now, if it had not been for the plan of redemption, which was laid from the foundation of the world, there could have been no resurrection of the dead; but there was a plan of redemption laid, which shall bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, of which has been spoken.

I am grateful for the "Plan of Redemption" that is spoken of here by Alma. We are in need of redemption, and it would be pretty hard to find redemption without a redeemer

2 Nephi 2
6 Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth

I am grateful for the Savior Jesus Christ, who is the Reedemer. Through Jesus Christ I have been able to find peace in my life despite my challenges, weaknesses, trials, and even when theres a cockroach taking a bath in my cheerios

Love

Elder Forrest
