Another good week out here in Wilmington North Carolina! We had a great week, we were so busy teaching we barely had time to think
We got challenged by the mission to teach 150 lessons this last week as a zone, we passed that and taught 192, so we are super stoked about that
The other day we were running late for a lesson, so we cut through the woods because it was faster. Well the woods out here are thicker than a dairy queen blizzard, and as I was running through I tripped on a vine and went flying down a hill face first into a pile of mud. Normally I would have probably been pretty pissed...but it was actually kinda fun, it brought back a lot of memories 🤔😂
We went and saw the beach last Monday so that was pretty cool, it has been a long time since I have seen the ocean. We also raked 6 yards this week, so lots of raking!
This week I was reading in Moroni 7
40 And again, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you concerning hope. How is it that ye can attain unto faith, save ye shall have hope?
41 And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise.
42 Wherefore, if a man have faith he must needs have hope; for without faith there cannot be any hope.
I am grateful for the birth, life, and Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that through the power of his Atonement we will be raised to Eternal life and see our loved ones once again. I am grateful for this Hope that comes only through Jesus Christ. Without Jesus Christ, my life would have no purpose, there would be no hope, no joy, and nothing good. All good things truly do come because of the Savior Jesus Christ.
Love yall
Elder Forrest
