Last Transfer!

Another great week out here in Dub-Ville NC! We had zone council this week and it went super good, we talked about my favorite thing to talk about... BAPTISM!

Kinda crazy time just keeps flying. We have transfers tomorrow and Elder Overton is taking off to go somewhere else. My new comp is going to be Elder Ward, I served with him back in Fayettnam and he is a stud

We got invited to come to some Christian fitness club on Saturday morning and we met a bunch of dudes in a park. It's called f3 fitness and they meet every morning. Its typically not something we would be allowed to do but we got permission. They give everyone that comes a name and I got "Crapshoot" 🎲. They gave Elder Overton "Walker" cuz he's from Texas and he's kinda lazy 😂. It was a pretty good time, we woke up at 5am today and went and worked out with them again

We put a dude, Adelso, on baptism date for January 30th this week! He is a stud, he is YSA age though so we are going to work with the YSA Elders to get him going over there.

This week I have been studying the restoration of the Gospel. Joseph Smith and his family had some pretty rough challenges they had to go through while Joseph was growing up, and it didnt stop after that either. It's interesting to see how those challenges led them and prepared them for the Restoration of the Gospel and all the blessings that accompany it, and prepared them to do the work the Lord intended for them to do.

Life can be challenging, and sometimes it can be hard to see why we have to go through so many hard things. But one day we will look back on our trials with a more full and eternal perspective and see how those trials shaped us into the people that we have become, and prepared us for the future.

Love yall

Elder Forrest
