Last week

Another great week out here in Wilmington North Carolina! I can't believe it is already Monday again

This week we got A TON of rain! I didn't even know it was possible for it to rain that much for that long

A member brought us a huge pizza the other day, it barely fit in his car. If you thought a slice of costco pizza was big you ain't seen nothing

For church yesterday our Bishop got permission from the area presidency to play one of the new youth album songs for our closing hymn, Felt like we were at a party church, the whole congregation was swaying

Other than that we have just been teaching, we made some good progress with some people this week. We are hoping to set a baptism date with a couple people this week, Rhea and Nikole. We also found 7 new people to teach this week, our teaching pool has gotten massive which is a good problem to have!

Alma 31:5
5 And now, as the preaching of the word had a great tendency to lead the people to do that which was just—yea, it had had more powerful effect upon the minds of the people than the sword, or anything else, which had happened unto them—therefore Alma thought it was expedient that they should try the virtue of the word of God.

I was pondering on this scripture and how the word of God could be more powerful than the sword. A sword could really mess some one up, I know I wouldn't want to get hit with a sword. While a sword can kill it can't bring anything back to life. The word of God teaches us of Jesus Christ who is "the way, the truth, and the LIFE". The word of God is far more powerful than swords, guns, missiles, and believe it or not.... even my biceps.

Love yall
